About Felting Bee

My love and appreciation for wool-based art has been a constant throughout my life. Although the demands of daily life once prevented me from fully exploring it, that changed in February 2024 following a minor accident. Needle felting quickly became a true passion, with the desire to explore the representation of images that had been connected to my childhood, landscape, home, and culture.

All of my framed pieces are created in a distinctive three-dimensional style that is unique to me and my work.This has allowed me to create a sense of movement, depth and character to each piece I individually handcraft.  My creations typically include rural Irish scenes, plants, birds, wildlife, whimsical characters and folklore, along with aspects of my Irish Culture and history. 

Through participating in national craft markets, I’ve been fortunate to share my work with others and discover the universal appeal of these themes. This website now allows me to reach a wider audience and share that same sense of enjoyment for years to come.
